When Fake Shore Drive shows up in your hometown, you best believe that Chicago’s cream of the crop is coming with. Warhol.SS is part of a new Chicago batch, and he made his presence known at Red Bull Sound Select’s 11th day of “30 Days In LA” at The Mayan.

His performance, at least for me, was a frenzied blur. With his huge entourage on stage supporting him, it felt more like a party than a concert. Truth be told, I was paying more attention to my camera not getting wet from water that was getting thrown from the stage, but I have the feeling that it was all by design. After all, you only get to make a first impression once, and what better way to make a first impression than to get your audience turnt up.

Warholl.SS took it even a step further, jumping into the crowd to bounce with the audience, spreading his infectious enthusiasm to anybody who was willing to receive it. He’s already got his hometown fully supporting him. It seems that he’s on his way to winning the hearts of Los Angeles as well.
