LOS ANGELES, CA- I got major dating anxiety from Us the Duo’s absolutely lovely relationship and beautiful performance at Identity LA. A night of celebration for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month heightened as we all stood in awe of Us the Duo’s vocal and couple goals.

The LA based husband-and-wife folk/pop duo consisting of Michael and Carissa Alvarado wowed the audience with their harmonic originals and odes to a few of their favorite artists. Creative twists on “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, “Missing You Like Crazy”, and their new 2016 top hits mash-up, happen to be only a few of the performance highlights.

They even shared their more intimate songs like the one they wrote for each other during their five year vow renewal ceremony, “No Matter Where You Are”. If felt like watching a fairytale love scene play out right before my eyes.

Through the use of multiple instruments, beatboxing, and harmonizing, the duo truly displayed their signature smooth and sultry yet playful style of song. The multifaceted duo with over 1.7M subscribers on YouTube melted our hearts, not to mention raising the dating bar way up high.
