After reaching 1 billion streams on Apple Music last month, and then following up with
record breaking sales of his new line of Whiskey, Drake is still continuing to make 2016 a drake_bcvery epic year. As of today, Spotify announces that “One Dance” has become the platform’s most streamed song ever – the track has reached over 880 million streams, topping out the previous record held by Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MØ’s “Lean On” single which previously reached 526 million plays. As it stands, Drake has over 8 billion total streams on Spotify while his VIEWS album still holds the record for the three biggest streaming weeks ever when his album was played over 245.1 million times in May 2016.
