I don’t know much about them, but I when I stumbled upon Noisey‘s review of their debut singled “The Outfield” which proclaimed, “Sting, is that you? Huey Lewis? Springsteen? Kenny Loggin? Don’t even try and pretend this song isn’t fire,” I couldn’t help but press play and decide for myself.
Wow. Pretty solid stuff. It’s just one song, but if you’re looking for a teaser, this is it.
Then I hear through the grapevine that in addition to playing 3 headlining gigs in NYC and Los Angeles, they’ll be hitting the road for an extensive North American tour with John Mayer this summer. Apparently, I’m not the only one to think these guys have some serious potential. You should probably start pressing those “like” and “follow” buttons right … about … now.
