LOS ANGELES, CA- Aud Mammal is the current musical project of the multi-talented Jen Spazmaster. A jack-of-all-trades, Jen Spazmaster has been ingrained in the L.A. music scene working as a producer, promoter and dancer for many years. After taking a bit of a hiatus, she back to flexing her chops as a singer and bassist for Aud Mammal.
On this evening, Jen celebrated her birthday with her band and close friends at The Hi Hat. Making a grand entrance, she started her performance by singing her way through the crowd wearing a glittery mesh veil. Accompanied initially by only by a softly lilting keyboard, all eyes were on Jen as she made her way to the stage. Once there, she armed herself with her bass and proceeded to rip through a set of indie/alt rock jams with her bandmates.
She was having fun on stage. You could hear how grateful she was to have friends come out the night before New Years Eve to celebrate her born day with her, and that joy and appreciation was reflected in the music and with every bass line she plucked as the night went on.
