Conan Gray’s “The King” Is a Modern Day “Royals” Also Check Out Our Photos Of His Recent Performance At The Forum
LOS ANGELES, CA- I first caught the 20 something singer, songwriter Conan Gray during his performance at The Forum opening for Panic! At The Disco when Betty Who was no longer slated to perform. His 2018 EP Sunset Season is a collection of well produced, pop-rock confections that have received millions of listens on various streaming platforms. His most recent single, “The King”, is a groove worthy, synth jam that’s propelled by a pulsing bass line and his dreamily subdued vocals. It’s programmed drum tracks has that kind of mysterious urgency that Lorde’s “Royals” has and its his catchy hook makes this song worthy of playlist inclusion for your summer plans.
