ECHO PARK, CA- Ahead of their now annual music showcase “Love You Down”, SWIMM has released their new single “True Romance” which is from their forthcoming full-length album titled “Sentimental Porno”.
It’s a sensual cut that really utilizes Chris Hess’ smooth, falsetto vocals to full effect. The rhythms are steadily played, while the distorted keys undulate throughout. As Chris swoons “I want what’s best for you” and the baritone voices softly follow proclaiming “true romance”, it’s hard not to feel the earnest sincerity of the sentiment
On February 2, 2018, SWIMM will be hosting Love You Down II at The Echo. The showcase will featured performances from Fog Etc., Mating Ritual and Talk In Tongues among others. Tickets are available on SWIMM’s website, so if you feel like getting loved down, we suggest that head on out to check it out. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a true romance…
