LOS ANGELES, CA- Only released earlier this month, the Sam Smith and Normani duet “Dancing With A Stranger” has already garnered in excess of 80 million streams globally. The song is a soulfully rhythmic expression of heartbreak, with Normani impressively matching Sam Smith’s ubiquitous falsetto verse for ver with her sultry timbre. The song now has an accompanying music video.

The video was directed by Vaughan Arnell (James Blunt, George Michael) and shot in London. Using a sparsely decorated home and shaded with a stark black/blue color palate, the video gives the song an added sense of desolation and isolation.

Normani a had quite a 2018, with her solo single “Love Lies” not only hitting #1 at Top 40 Radio, but also going platinum in the U.S. Having already collaborated with artists like 6LACK, Quavo and Kehlani, this new track with Sam Smith is heightenig the anticipation for her debut album which is currently in the works.
