Opening for K.Flay at the El Rey Theatre 4/5/17 was East L.A. soul singer Lostboycrow. Wearing all white, sporting long blond hair kept in place with a headband emblazoned with name, this young man crooned his way through a solid 30+ minute set.

His performance was high energy and filled with positive vibes. It almost reminded me a little bit of Robin Thicke back when he was just Thicke. Youthful R&B for this time and place with an edge. In this case, an indie-electronic edge.

What gives Lostboycrows’ music a further edge are his mellifluous vocals. It’s his subtle tenor voice that has girls in the audience fawning over him and just enough rasp to have the women in the audience intrigued.Check out his latest release, “Real Name” below.
