WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA- Outloud Fest has a knack for pulling together artists whose stage presence leaves a lasting impression, even if their catalogs are still taking shape. Tori Kay fits that mold perfectly. I wasn’t familiar with her before the festival, but her set quickly caught my eye, and more notably, my attention, for its high-impact choreography, confident delivery, and sheer fun factor.
According to her Spotify bio, Tori Kay is more than just a pop singer. She’s a trained dancer, actress, and content creator, and that multi-hyphenate identity isn’t just fluff. It was evident in her performance. Backed by a cadre of dancers, her Outloud set was a visual spectacle filled with tight choreography and a stage presence that screamed “pop star in the making.” Every move was calculated but not overly rehearsed, and there was still a sense of spontaneity and play that kept the crowd engaged.

What struck me most was how effortlessly she blended all of these elements together. She gave the audience something closer to a mini pop concert production than a simple festival set. Her dance background clearly shines through, and it’s not surprising considering she began making waves touring with KidzBop back in 2014, performing over 100 shows at a young age. She’s been in the entertainment world for nearly a decade, even though she’s only 23 years old.
In addition to live performances, Tori Kay has dabbled in acting, appearing in various series and commercials. She’s also cultivated a fanbase on social platforms through her YouTube channel and other content creation efforts. She represents a modern kind of artist, someone who doesn’t operate solely in the music world but works across several interconnected creative lanes. That level of versatility helps her stay relevant and adaptable, though it can make it harder to pin down who she is musically.

That observation isn’t meant as a criticism, but more of a curiosity. Her discography is still quite light, consisting of a handful of singles released sporadically over the years. Tracks like “Girl Power 2.0” and “MMM” show a solid grasp of empowering pop and dance-forward production. Still, without a full-length project or even an EP to flesh things out, it’s tough to get a clear read on her identity as an artist. And yet, after seeing her live, it’s hard not to want more.
There is a clear confidence in her delivery and a polish in her staging that suggests she has more to say. If she steps into a focused album cycle that leans into both her performance skills and her emotional depth, I believe she could carve out a distinct place in today’s crowded pop landscape. With the right songs and a strong production team behind her, it’s easy to imagine Tori Kay growing her fanbase in a major way.
That is what makes her so compelling to watch. At just 23, she has already done more across entertainment than many artists twice her age. Her Outloud Fest set proved that she knows how to command a stage. The next step, hopefully, is to give us more music, more stories, more songs, and more of her. The potential is clearly there, and I, for one, am very curious to hear where she takes it.
