ALLSTON, MA- River Matthews got things started tonight at the Brighton and hails from the U.K.. River has been in the scene since 2016 and is a Nettwerk Music Group recording artist whose debut full-length album “Imogen” was released this past Feb.
River Matthews was a soulful performer and an absolute pleasure to hear live, taking the stage with just his guitar and his distinctive vocals, the crowd swaying and responding to his captivating sound. Being the opener, River had a rather abbreviated set but clearly showcased his powerful but controlled musical style and lyrics. River Matthews delivered an enchanting performance effortlessly gaining the affection of the crowd.
