ECHO PARK, CA- On December 2nd, 2017, the band HUNNY held their second annual “Winter Talent Show” at The Echoplex. With 7 diverse acts in the line-up, we knew it would be a good one. With Ramonda Hammer kicking off the holiday, musical festivities, we knew it would be great.
This band has had a pretty good 2017. Releasing an EP (“Destroyers”), getting that EP noticed by Rolling Stone as an “Editor’s Pick” and having their music make a handful of “best of 2017” playlists- Hell … even I’ve got the song “Destroyers” on my “local faves” iTunes playlist- I’ve got a feeling in my gut that 2018 will be even better for them.
Their performance at this showcase marked the fourth time I was able to catch them perform live this year. Looking forward to catching them some more in the year to come.
