Never on to walk away from a fight wether it be in the ring or in the world of politics Muhammad Ali was an iconic American figure that will leave a lasting impression on the modern day American psyche. Born Cashes Clay the native of Kentucky converted to Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Ali during the height of the Civil Rights movement in the U.S.. Ali was a powerful figure in both sports and politics throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s. He passed away in Arizona at the age of 74 on June 3, 20016.
