Lunice – Montreal’s premiere rap-producer – taps a few friends for his latest single, “Distrust.” Split into two levels, “Distrust,” features Denzel Curry alongside two more members of the ‘C9’ crew: JK The Reaper & Nell who spit fire over the drum-shattering track.
The track embodies that of a marathon as Curry, Reaper, and Nell each pass the baton between one another. Shifting between lyricists and mixed by LuckyMe member, S-Type, “Distrust” is sure to make it onto a few favorite lists. Lunice’s love for creating cinematic rap records is evident on the recond as it builds with the intensity of each rapper’s lines and slows down by the end of its second half.
“Distrust” is said to be featured on Lunice’s forthcoming album CCCLX LP out September 8th.
