LOS ANGELES, CA- Mix cheeky sassiness, a soulful voice and a breezy instrumental and you can achieve pop perfection as Mae Muller has done with her latest single “I Don’t Want Your Money”.

Of the song, Mae says:

“I wrote ‘I Don’t Want Your Money’ just under two years ago now, and I’m so happy it’s finally out! I just wanted to show that there are other ways to be treated, rather than just materialistically, especially if you have your own money! I’m financially independent, so you have to find other ways to impress me, I don’t need anything else apart from love and affection. Treat me with respect and we’re GOOD.”

The video, which was shot by Mae on her iPhone while in quarantine, was directed remotely by Sophie Muller (No Doubt, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Beyoncé). Like the music, the video is joyful, up-close and personal, look at Mae’s different looks.

Prior to the stay-at-home order, Muller had completed a sold-out UK/EU headline tour and a 32-date run with Little Mix.

Mae writes and performs music aimed more to the women and young girls (she has previously stated, “I know what I want to say, and I know what the message is that I want to get across. I want women and young girls going through hard shit to put on my songs and feel better. We’re going through this together…” But despite this … and subject to the artists being able to tour again …  as soon as this London-based artist heads to my neck of the woods, I’m pretty sure I’ll be holding that date to catch her perform live.
