Halestorm unveils a powerful new video for the song “Dear Daughter” from their latest full-length album, Into The Wild Life.
Lead singer Lzzy Hale described the song’s message as a song of self-love and empowerment for women. Inspired to write the song from the love and support she’d receive from her parents, Lzzy hopes to inspire the next generation of mothers, daughters, and sisters.
Piggybacking off of the songs success the group plans to honor mothers around the world in a tremendous way this Mother’s Day. Using social media platforms to assist in getting their message across, Halestorm is encouraging fans to post photos of their mothers and/or daughters with their own stories of encouragement and the hashtag #DearDaughter.
