Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, TeawhyB (nee Tyler Baumgar) is an alternative R&B/Hip-Hop artist who has been dropping little gems here and there starting in 2018. As a recording artist, he’s not only able to mellifluously carry a melody, but he can also spit bars quite convincingly.
TeawhYB is an artist who stirs emotion with his music. With his latest single, “Controller 2”, TeawhYB sings about the challenges of modern dating culture, where a “controller 2” is a metaphor representing an afterthought/2nd choice.
The lyrics of this song reveal the confusion and emotional turmoil that ensues when you realize that you are being treated like a sidepiece, but you keep coming back. In the video, we see the protagonist in the video get emotionally and physically worn down from the psychological abuse.
