When Fake Shore Drive throws a party in your city, you better start googling which Chicago born artists are in town because even though they may not be on the bill, they just may show up to blow the roof off the house. For Red Bull Sound Select’s 11th night of its “30 Days In LA” concert series, established and up-and-coming Chicago bred artists including Jeremih, Joey Purp and Warhol.SS were slated on the bill.
Chief Keef wasn’t on the bill for the evening, but he showed up to perform a couple of his hits, including “Faneto” (see the video clip below). It was a short performance, but it got the crowd pumped and manifested the old adage that “blood is thicker than water”. If you take pride in your city, you represent. Chief Keef did just that for Chicago in spades.
