AUSTIN, TX- My Friday at Levitation was kind of an international affair. I was able to catch Kikagaku Moyo (a five-piece Japanese psychedelic band from Tokyo), Black Midi (a progressive noise rock band from London that is currently part of the Rought Trade Records roster) and the US acts A Place To Bury Strangers (a New York City-based noise rock band, composed of Oliver Ackermann, and new lineup John Fedowitz and Sandra Fedowitz whose latest work was released by Ackermann’s new record label, DedStrange Records) and George Clanton (an electronic artist, producer, and singer-songwriter).
