LOS ANGELES, CA- Caroline Renezeder is a Los Angeles based recording artist who released her first single back in 2017 while she was still in college. After graduating from the University of Southern California in 2018, toured with acts like KYLE and Marc E. Bassy and even opened for legends like The Isley Brothers. She released a very polished 5 song EP, Afraid of the Dark, and a pair of singles under the coupled titled Sus.Pack in 2019.

Caroline has followed up her 2019 releases with a new single, “Common Theme”. With her dreamy vocals, she embodied all of the bedroom pop vibes that we’ve gotten from her earlier output, but there’s definitely a more sensual/mature neo-soul vibe in this jam. As soon as she sings the opening lyrics, “I’m good at catching feelings, but I”m also good at dreaming,” we’re already there dreaming with her.

Of the song, Caroline has said:

“Some might say I’m a bit too trusting when it comes to love and 9 times out of 10, it has gotten me in trouble […] Avoiding red flags and giving the wrong boys the benefit of the doubt has been a recurring theme in my life. In order to hammer the concept into my brain that I shouldn’t be doing that, I thought perhaps I’d write a song about it. So alas, here is my vibey, alternative message to myself that If I truly want to attain the sort of love I so desire, I need to break the common theme of my love life and stop going for guys that are all wrong for me.”

She can keep breaking the “Common Theme” as long as she keeps writing music like this.
