Wolf Bay Celebrates “Under The Moon” With Friends And A Cause At The Moroccan Lounge Listen To Wolf Bay's Debut Single Here
LOS ANGELES, CA- Celebrating the release of his debut single, “Under The Moon”, Dean Passarella and his new recording project, Wolf Bay, took over the Moroccan Lounge in downtown Los Angeles on a balmy Sunday evening. Presented by Play Like A Girl and ROVE, and accompanied by a slew of notable musician friends- some of whom joined him on stage to rock the stage- the packed room enjoyed Dean’s blues rock stylings.
“Under The Moon” is Wolf Bay’s first official recording and if it’s any indication of what’s to come, we can expect some more sensual vibes from Dean in the future. With its silky guitar riffs, its “Carless Whisper” type sonics, and its yearning lyrics filled with lust and desire, “Under The Moon” is a song that’s bound to put you in a sexy mood.
In order to fill out their setlist, Wolf Bay played several covers including Christine and the Queens’ “iT” (during which Dean shed his ubiquitous guitar to dance along to the music) and concluded his set with a shredding cover Jeff Beck’s “Live In the Dark” with Alicia Blue and Lauren Ruth Ward sharing featured vocal duties. Dean really dug in at the end of “Live In The Dark”, jumping into the audience with his axe to remind us all that he could still melt faces with his licks
Proceeds from the evening’s performance (and event raffle) were donated to The Trevor Project, and raised just enough to fund two crisis counselors’ training through the money from the door. Raffle sponsors include Wanderlust Hollywood, The Spare Room, Behmor and Venice-based artists Bo Spencer and Gubby Beck.
