Easy, the highly anticipated new album from rising Nashville-via-Mississippi band The Weeks, is set for release April 7 on Lightning Rod Records and the band has dropped a new video for album’s first track “Talk Like That”. Shot entirely by the band’s drummer, Cain Barnes, the gritty and home-grown video footage perfectly encapsulates the band’s essence: a rock “band of brothers” that just wants to have fun and entertain their fans.
Southern rock at it’s core with an infectiously anthemic hook, “Talk Like That” feels as loose and carefree as their prior recordings. The band will be doing a full domestic tour this year, and if the rest of Easy is as fun and rocking as “Talk Like That”, they’ll be entertaining larger and larger crowds as the year progresses.
