LOS ANGELES, CA- If you are looking for some soothing dream pop, our latest find will satisfy your needs. Beauty Queen is Kate Iannitello, and this Maui-born, LA-based singer/songwriter’s music will smooth the edges of your soul with her dreamy sounds. It kinda makes sense that she teamed up with the husband-and-wife duo Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley of the band Tennis’ to record her two latest singles (including “Two of Us”) at their home studio in Denver, Colorado.

There’s a very nostalgic vibe to “Two of Us”.  Iannitello has explained her appreciation for music from decades past such as 1950s pop and doo-wop, and those sentiments seem to be sprinkled throughout in her recent releases.

The song’s accompanying music video is a comedic illustration of the song’s theme. The video tells the story of two  Sasquatches who “clean up” and have a day among humanity while oblivious to a Sasquatch hunter on their tail.  Of the music video, Iannitello says:

“This music video was an absolute blast to make. If all my future videos could be Sasquatch based, I would be pleased […] It’s two Sasquatches on their “day out” where they shave and go out in the world. Huge thank you to Budd Diaz and his team and the actors involved for making this happen!”
