RECAP: The Venice Beach based trio Too Bad had the privilege of being the first act to grace the main stage of MainFest Alhambra’s inaugural music festival. Though the crowd was sparsely populated due to the early set-time, this band played with a type of energy worthy of a sold-out club venue. From my interview with them later in the day, they described their sound a “EDR” or “electronic dance rock”. They certainly had me shaking my groove thing before lunch. Mission accomplished.
