RECAP: We here at Blurred Culture like to think that we have decent taste in music. A band that we’ve had our eye on are The Dead Ships, and even though we’ve already covered them twice this year, we just had to see them again at Music Tastes Good.

Our radar seems to be paying off because not only did L.A. Weekly include them on their “Best of L.A.” the also got some primetime exposure with a mention by Ellen Degeneres on The Ellen Show:

We can’t heap enough positive words about these guys that hasn’t already been said, so I think we’ll just leave it with this: Check this band out. If you dig post-punk revival, indie rock, it’ll be worth your while. Trust us.
