“… Flasch’s first suggestion was the indie-electronic artist Tay. As soon as I pressed play on her Spotify repertoire, I knew it’d be a good fit. Tay has been steadily releasing music since 2020, and with each song, you can hear her musical evolution as her songwriting and production techniques are clearly getting more complex. You can hear that which I speak of in her latest single, “HEADSPACE” which she officially released a few days ago, and which we were lucky to catch a live performance of on the Madame Siam Stage.
It was a fantastic performance by Tay, but I think what really impressed me about this young woman was her razor-like focus. Like Flasch, Tay is an artist who wears several hats, one of which is being the curator- and I’m assuming the founder- of Bite The Noise. When she’s not spending hours perfecting her own musical craft, she out there hustling for ears to discover other new local musicians. As soon as her set was done, she started asking me about possible future dates to maybe put on another showcase at Madame Siam… I see you, Tay 😉
