LOS ANGELES, CA- If you’re looking for a pop gem to add to your playlist, look no further. Nina Nesbitt has released a new track titled “Somebody Special” and we’re really feeling vibe on this one. Strong, soulful vocals accompanied with pristine production value makes this cut highly listenable.
Despite receiving props from the likes of Taylor Swift and Chloë Grace Moretz after releasing her singles “”The Best You Had” and “The Moments I’m Missing”, we hedged our bets on Nina to begin with. But the third times a charm, and we’re fully on her bandwagon right now.
As Nina exaplains, “Somebody Special” is is a love song with a twist:
“Somebody Special is about when you’ve been feeling a bit low and then you meet this person who changes everything. It’s about those first few months where everything you do together feels so exciting. You could be sitting in a dive bar drinking cheap cider, driving about in a broken down car, or sitting at home in your tracksuit, but you somehow feel like you’re having the best time because the feeling of falling in love sugar coats everything.”
With plans to release her new album this Summer, we’re eager to hear what other music she’s got line up for us. She will be returning to North American shores this March and April supporting Jake Bugg, and we’re looking forward to catching her at a gig. You should too.
