LOS ANGELES, CA- OG Status (OG Scoop and Mike Lang) is a new hip hop duo out of Dallas and they dropped a chill summer banger featuring the southern rap legend Bun B.
The video, produced by Jeff Adair Films, was shot on location in Costa Rica and has the trio chilling on a mutha-f’in boat, which is absolutely fitting considering that the track opens up with Scoop singing hook, “I’m on a yacht out in Costa Rica”.
The beat, produced by Alexay Beats out of France, is hypnotic with its silky, modulated horns that rides an equally hypnotic beat that snaps with the punchy hi-hat rhythms.
This trio is all smiles and good vibes as Scoop sings, “I’m on a yacht, turned up in Costa Rica, living my best life baby , pura vida”. You can’t help but feel the same vibe throughout the song.
