NEW YORK, NYC- New York City-based, Georgia bred, singer/songwriter Ron Pope has released new single titled “Figure It Out” ahead of the drop date of his new EP “Worktapes”. If this doesn’t become an anthem for blue collared Americans, I don’t know what could.

It’s an upbeat, well crafted song that has a catchy hook. It’s rock and roll, with a little dusting of country on top.

The song’s theme is one that resonates with those- well… resonated with me at least- who are just trying to get through life day by day; who maybe reminisce about the good-ole easier days while sitting at the bar downing a cold one. The opening line says it all: “Real hard living but you figure it out”. If you can’t related to that, then … well … I guess I won’t be buying you a beer any time soon.

Ron Pope’s EP is scheduled for release January 26 on his own Brooklyn Basement Records and the second leg of his U.S. tour, a Midwest and West Coast run, begins February 7. See the tour dates below.
