MONTREAL, QC- Tedy is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter whose powerful emotions are on full display in his music. Using his genre-bending style, his emotions are on full display on his power ballads (Have you hear “Can I“?) as he tip-toes the pop/rock spectrum.

Signed to Sony Music Entertainment Canada, he released his second single for them last month titled “War”. It is another song that swells emotion, with its dynamics crescendoing with full force as it peaks in the chorus. The single was produced by Herag Sanbalian and Mike Wise and offers a glips into Tedy’s life.

Tedy explains:

“‘War’ is about learning that no matter how much it hurts, you have to love yourself enough to get out of an environment that is toxic.”

As Tedy sings, “where do we go from here, what have we done”, he ponders the tangled web of love he’s in, obviously still in love, but recognizing that “something’s missing” and questioning whether all of the “hits and misses” are all still worth it. Is this war of the heart in fact all worth it?

Tedy spent most of last year working on his new album for Sony, and if “War” is any indication of what else is up his sleeve, we’re sure to be rewarded with a powerfully introspective and spiritual collection of music.
