SNBRN’s Unorthodox House Soundscapes Got The Dancing Started Early At Elements NYC Listent to SNBRN's Latest Track "If I Can Have You" Here!
NEW YORK, NY- The first half of the day was filled with a lot of inclement weather, so a lot of us were restricted to the warehouse for a good chunk of time. It was in the restricted warehouse that they moved the Water Stage into.
Luckily, not only could everyone fit comfortably, but being stuck indoors didn’t seem to dampen the mood at all. Characters in extravagant coordinated outfits straight out of a comic book were bouncing around, while bass-hungry swashbucklers hung off the sails of the pirate ship. Metal sculptures that people couldn’t help but climb were all over the place along with a bar and eatery. The happiness was contagious. The second floor featured a huge balcony where you can get a birds eye view or a massage (yes really).
SNBRN absolutely killed it. Bumping nothing but dope house music, he made damn sure there weren’t any stiff bodies in the room. Everyone was dancing, and I do mean EVERYONE. Having a stage in front of their table allowed both acts to feature colorful dancers and performers that seemed to flow perfectly with the music.
SNBRN incorporates a lot of unorthodox soundscapes and mixes into his work. His ability to remain true to grassroots house music while still experimenting with new sounds is the secret sauce to his success. Even someone like me who isn’t the #1 house music fan in the world, I found myself having trouble breaking the trance those he put me in.
