Reports of Chief Keef posting the $500,000 bail have been confirmed Saturday by Complex. The Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ online database confirms Keef, whose government name is Keith Cozart, was booked by the Van Nuys, California division of the LAPD at approximately 4:30 p.m Thursday. Keef posted the $500,000 bail and was released at approximately 11:33 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27.
Less than one week after producer Ramsay tha Great named Chief Keef as a perpetrator and uploaded pictures of himself bruised and bloodied as the result of a home invasion robbery, Keef was arrested as a possible suspect.
Last week, Ramsay the Great posted an Instagram photo of himself in a neckbrace with a swollen right eye and multiple bruises.
