New York, CA- If there’s anybody who knows how to take advantage of an opportunity, it’s a New Yorker. It’s in our DNA. That’s why when the good people at “Bang On!” presented Elements Music and Art Festival, an immersive new concert experience, I knew we were in for a treat.
Boasting a diverse electronic lineup including heavy-hitters like Bassnectar and Subtronics as well as downtempo acts like Emancipator and Jade Cicada – Elements was already a balanced and attractive event. However, with the addition of various interactive art installations called ‘Art of the Future’ which will feature works from over a dozen amazing artists, each providing their own unique flavor to the experience, this festival is sure to be a carefully curated masterpiece that East Coast EDM fans will have a hard time forgetting. Whether you’re a head-banging dubstep enthusiast, techno connoisseur, hip-hop head, or just simply looking to have a good time, this rumble in the Bronx is going to be the place to be come August 11, 2018.
I think there’s a stigma that only the supermassive festivals like E-Zoo or EDC have a place in New York. I humbly disagree. By focusing on bringing something new to the table in a way that doesn’t rely on gimmicks, Elements NYC is the audiovisual breath of fresh air that this city will truly appreciate.
Led by Julianne Irene, the creative team that was hugely successful in Lakewood will be back to transform Hunts Point into a completely different world. Along with the fan-favorite Pirate Ship, the team will have a ton of engaging never-before-seen installations and structures that are sure to have your jaw hitting the floor. I am always blown away by this team’s ability to create unique spaces that are capable of transporting your mind to another place.
This is one of those events that you will always have something new to do and somewhere fresh to explore. Do yourself a favor this summer and let the never-ending grind of the Big Apple melt away as you allow your mind to be set free. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime experience, grab your tickets before they’re gone.
