A 6-year-old Texas girl was fatally shot at an apartment complex Friday after an argument over spilled water, authorities said. According to police, the child and the gunman were involved in an argument over spilled water, KHOU reported. Police added the gunman and the girl were related but did not disclose their relationship, the television station reported.
Police said the girl was shot “multiple times,” according to KTRK. Police said officers who arrived at the scene at around 11:30 a.m. performed CPR on the girl until emergency medical personnel arrived. Walker was taken to an area hospital, where she later died, KTRK reported. The gunman fled the scene but was later arrested, the television station reported.
