Thundercat performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night with music icons Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins. The trio—along with Thundercat’s band featuring Dennis Hamm on keys and Justin Brown on drums—performed “Show You The Way,” the lead single from Thundercat’s third full-length album Drunk (Brainfeeder).

Drunk is the follow-up to his widely praised 2015 mini album The Beyond / Where The Giants Roam.

Born Stephen Bruner, Thundercat is the virtuosic bassist and singer who has made outstanding contributions to landmark albums by Kamasi Washington (The Epic) and Kendrick Lamar (To Pimp A Butterfly). His work on Lamar’s netted him his first Grammy in 2016.

Thundercat will be hitting the road soon to promote his recent project. With dates beginning in June and ending  August, Thundercat will spearhead his very own international tour.
