Hollywood, CA- When I get into a band … I really get into a band. Back in March, while I was in Austin for SXSW I caught them perform in local bar. I was hooked. Their grungy alternative rock had me feigning for more, but when I found out that they were based out of Santiago, Chile, my heart sank a bit. I thought it would be a while before I’d get to see them perform again.
Well … as fate would have it, they’ve made a pair of trips to the City of Angels to record music and play gigs since my exposure to them in Austin. Their show at the Viper on November 11th was the third time I got to catch them in concert, and it was every bit as awesome as the first time I saw them when they impressed me so much I had to buy all of their albums and a t-shirt.
What can I say about this band that I haven’t already said twice before? Perhaps I should just summarize what I’ve previously said…
- The two front-women (Elisa and Vicky) may be petite, but their presence on stage is pretty damn big.
- Their guitarist, Ignacio, is a whirlwind on stage as he shreds his electric guitar.
- They. Fucking. Rock.
