SNOOP DOGG TO STAR IN COOKING SHOW ALONGSIDE MARTHA STEWART
It’s not the first duo most people would think of as ideal for a cooking show, but it’s clear that Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart make for an excellent team. After teaming up numerous times on The Martha Stewart Show, the pair have decided to make it official and finally get a proper show together. After appearing on $100,000 Pyramid together, someone took note of their chemistry. The pair will launch their first TV show as a duo this fall with Martha & Snoops Dinner Party on VH1.
In a statement about the show, Snoop said, “My homegirl, Martha and I have a special bond that goes back.” He continued, “We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together.” Martha added, “At our dinner party, we will exemplify America’s fascination with food, entertaining and celebrity. Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party will redesign the traditional food competition shows in a new, different and very funny way.”
The potential entertainment value of this show is pretty huge, but it could also be somewhat of a mess. Regardless, it’s definitely one hell of a pitch, and VH1 could have a big hit on their hands if it turns out anywhere near as well as it should. Watch the pair make mashed potatoes below.
