On June 11th, New York City will host its very first annual The Other Festival at Spring Studios. Featuring an all female line-up, The Other Festival will bring together some of the most respected female entrepreneurs, influencers, trailblazers and philanthropists from the music, fashion, film, art, food, design and technology worlds and provide them with a platform to share their experiences on what it means to face and overcome challenges in the modern working world.
Some notable speakers scheduled for the event are Rosario Dawson (actress, activist, entrepreneur), Melissa Ben Ishay (founder of Baked By Melissa), Reshma Saujani (founder of Girls Who Code), Stephanie Mark (founder of The Coveteur), Naomi Campbell (model, actress, entrepreneur), and Lauren Maillian (Host on Oxygen’s “Quit Your Day Job”). The day’s festivities will conclude with a series of musical performances from such artists like Justine Skye, Natalia Clavier (Thievery Corporation), Brooke Candy, Yuna and Chelsea Layland.
