Norco, CA- I don’t watch “The Bachelorette” (or “The Bachelor” for that matter), but apparently all … and I mean ALL … of the female attendees at MuscleKingz’s Car Show And Concert do … and they all flocked to the stage when Luke Pell (a suitor in season 12 of “The Bachelorette”) was about to perform.

(@Methodman13) for www.BlurredCulture.com.Now, if you doubt whether or not his rabid fans were in attendance, I’d like to direct your attention to Exhibit “A” which is a photo of a fan that I took. That piece of cardboard in her hand? It read, “Luke, Will You Accept This Beer”. And that beer that she’s also holding? Luke had taken it from her during his performance, took a sip from it, and gave it back to her. Needless to say, that partially sipped on can of beer is probably sitting on a shelf somewhere as a reminder of a day when fantasies came true.

Luke clearly knows how to cater to his adoring fans. All throughout his performance, he would reach out and grab every outreached hand that longed for his touch. When cellphones in the front row were raised in the air taping his performance, he would reach out to take them away, only to turn the camera right on his face to sing into the phone. Dozens of fans now have a personalized moment in time, memorialized in digital pixie dust of ones and zeros.

But let’s not let his overly adoring fans and cowboy good looks obscure the fact he’s a legitimate country singer with the kind of charisma and swagger that any recording artist would envy. His humble nature came through as well when he took the time to express his gratitude and respect for the military (he himself served as a platoon leader in the war in Afghanistan). Very appropriate and fitting given that Independence Day was around the corner.
